I had a scary dream last night. I was back working at the Commodity Exchange and came out of a blackout, a couple of hours lost out of my life. For some reason I recalled that I hadn't filled out the closing prices form. Colleagues looked at me warily. Some assumed I'd been drinking. I can attribute this only to my fear of the permanent blackout -- Alzheimer's.
The floating book shop was lucky in terms of weather but unlucky where it counts most -- sales. At least it got me out of the house for a few hours on an unusually balmy day in January.
